Touring Maastricht Holland
Straddling both sides of the Maas river in Limburg, Maastricht is one of the oldest cities in the country. The cities has lots of amazing history to see all the way back to Roman times!
Luckily the people of Maastricht have taken great care to preserve their history and it's an integral part of the city. When relics and historical sights are found they are integrated in to new designs as not to destroy the original sites.

The sand stone caves are carved in to wonderful pieces of art by the monks who live in the monastery above. Tours of the caves can be arranged through local tour agents and the tourist information office. It really is one of the highlights of visiting Maastricht.
