I will say a couple things about budget travel, not to discourage, but simply to warn.
- Budget Travel can be fun, you meet interesting people from around the world. Occasionally some of them will be creepy.
- Mass transportation in some countries is disgustingly dirty.
- Don't Drink and Drive is only a suggestion in some countries.
- Your personal space won't be so personal.
- People stink in hot climates and you will too.
- Hold on to your stuff, or make sure it's locked up.
- Hitchhiking is illegal in some places and it can be dangerous. I for legal reasons I don't suggest you do it.

- Budget Air Travel
- Train Travel
- Bus Travel (Long Haul)
- Hitch Hiking (Thumbing)
- Local Transport (Taxi, Bus, Camel, TukTuk)
