Yep, Still Here!
I'm still relaxing here in Goa, I have to say that it is really growing on me. But I don't expect to stay much longer than 3-4 more days.
I finished that Old Mortality book; now 1/3 through "Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens.
I met a couple of Americans, Mike and Allen who are really cool guys. Mike has travelled extensively to over 60 countries and is trying to launch an Internet based travel show of which he was doing some filming here in Goa. His buddy Allen is a cool guy, very relaxed, from California... We were hanging out and drinking beers last night.
I can't recall if I mentioned the Austrian and German chicks in my prior post. We met briefly at Dancing Shiva bar the other night, but we spoke for quite some time last evening. Each morning they do yoga down on the beach and let me tell you, if all women were so flexible every man would have a smile from ear to ear.
On that note, back to my books, and perhaps a swim later. I'll post website information about the Travel shows. I'm sure I'll be walking through one of the frames or sitting drinking a beer as the camera pans by the beach bars where he was filming.
I have to say it's pretty exciting meeting such well travelled people. You meet a long of people like myself who have been a few months here and there. Rarely do you find yourself meeting someone who has been doing 3-9 month adventures for the past 20+ years. It was funny hear some of his stories about getting the "curse" or which most people refer to as the "Travel Bug" and of course the beer story, a touching homage to the life long travellers, which I will no impart to anyone right now.
