Hippies Cut Our Power

Kieren and I went down to "Munchies" the local hangout to watch some TV and get some food and tea.

After that we split up and I went to the Cyber Cafe, about 45 minutes later I show up at the hotel and there is a note outside the door, "The hippies cut our power."

Intrigued, I opened the door to find Kieren sweating like hell with no fan or light... Until I flicked the switch and gave us power again!

OK, Most hotels in India have a power cut switch outside your door, they periodically turn off all the lights to conserve power. I'm sure it is really about saving money but I'll play Mr. Greenpeace and pretend their motives are environmental.

Anyways, not too long ago I didn't know about the outside switch and found myself in an equally annoyed position... But to blame it on Hippies.... PRICELESS.

I've been chuckling on and off for an hour and as I write this blog post!
