Shkodra, Albania

I left by taxi from Ulcinj (pre-arranged cost) to Shkodra, Albania.... Crossing through at Sukobin, its a small crossing, a couple of shacks and the famous Hoxha Bunkers.

There is no way to describe Shkodra... I got out of the taxi at the outskirts where the furgons (minivan buses) all hang out...

I would have loved some pictures, but if you saw the area, you would know why I didnt whip out the camera. Buildings, shops, road side stands made from scrap metal and garbage, sort-of half dirt and broken pavement roads, three foot piles of trash, some on fire.... And the dust.... Everywhere, heavily polluted country.

No drinking the water here!
