More Time

I was thinking about heading to Hannover tomorrow but tonight I met another Bro for coffee and a walk about town and he convinced me to stay for a week to attend some lodge meetings.

We walked by this one hotel and in the basement they had the ruins of an ancient roman temple to jupiter. Seriously like 1800 years old... Some arches, a well, broken statue... Just amazing. The hotel preserved it and built an elevated platform conference room around it.... Way cool. Of course I thought I was jst out for coffee and I didnt take the camera ;(

So anyways, spending about a week few km from Maastricht at Joris's flat... Time to relax, get off my feet, and fix up flickr's photos and descriptions!

Also phoned my parens today (collect, seriously complex pay phones) and they are well. Was nice to hear them... My Dads fishing trip was good, but Barry and a black bear had a run in and they ran to the rv, the bear up a tree. And to think, I just told a Belgian trucker last week that we were reasonably safe from bears!

I wonder how much the phone call cost? I had to wait until five pm just to call them at eight am! And rememer, it's Reply, not Forward ;) hehehe
