Great BBQ and a Wonderful Day

So after a short siesta this afternoon, I headed back in to town and got ready to eat some really great food and enjoy the company of friends. Tonight was my night, we were having BBQ, so I decided to get a really blue rare almost tartar steak. It was just amazing, it was really great!

I have been craving this for a few days now, and ranting about it in a prior post. Finally, the urge has subsided and my belly is full of cowy goodness heh :) Still, this was all spawned because of Faerie's post about it... I swear blogs are worst the commercials on TV for getting me to eat stuff, what's with that?

Now, we also had these big crazy onions, that were cut in to quarters, then put in tin-foil and put on the BBQ. I can't recall the name of the onion and I've never eaten them that way before, but man they were sure tasty! I'll ask tomorrow and find out what they were and do up a little post about it.

Tomorrow is the last day for the Ohio brethren to be here and I think I'll try and make it down for the breakfast and send off. It's pretty early for a Sunday :) One of the guys from Ohio had asked me if I had any military squadron patches or anything, sadly I didn't, but I gave him all the stuff off my jacket. It's a new version of the cadpat rank, name, and Canadian flag. He seemed happy about getting them, though I really regret that I didn't have any nicer ones to provide.

Over all it was a really great evening and I'm still stuffed full of food. I need to kick back, read some blogs and let all this wonderful raw meat digest. Ok, the vegetarianism lasted almost a week. I really think that my headaches and stuff were caused by totally cutting out meat from my diet. Perhaps if just cut back a little?
