Jack Wolfskin - Trailhead II Backpack

I purchased this pack about 4 months ago and have taken it on a variety of local hikes with weights up to about 45 lbs or so. It is very comfortable, well padded and seemly well thought out. I haven't done any multiday trips with it thus far, and I think I probably won't be doing any of those until my world tour. It has a 70L capacity, lots of pockets and pouches, the top portion turns in to a day pack (fanny pack) and the zipper systems make access to all areas really easy. I've got little locks for each zipper so it's not "too" easy though!

I haven't really crammed it full yet and tried to load it down heavy, I am going to try and keep the pack about 40-45 lbs because I am going to be carrying this around for some time! The load balancing on this pack is great, I did a 9.5 km hike yesterday with about 28 lbs and didn't even notice it, the only time I actually remembered it was there was when I had to tie my shoe and you have to do the weighted bag maneuver so you don't fall over :)

So far the bag has been holding up after 3 months of intense backpacking through the world. The only bad part thus far is the yellow straps on the back, the top loops are now almost broken off. Otherwise good shape after Western Europe, Eastern Europe, and Turkey!
